Opleiding
Dr. Nina Cardinaels studeerde in 2013 af als arts aan de KU Leuven en werd erkend als longarts in 2019. Ze volgde bijkomende opleidingen in het domein van respiratoire revalidatie, somnologie en chronisch respiratoir falen/thuisventilatie in het UZ Leuven en het UZ Gent. Dr. Cardinaels behaalde in 2021 een Europese certificatie in de somnologie van de ESRS (European Sleep Research Society).
Sinds 2022 is dokter Cardinaels staflid op de dienst Longziekten van het UZ Gent, waar ze zich toelegt op de respiratoire revalidatie en chronisch respiratoir falen/thuisventilatie.
