- Urgent patient transport is transport arranged via the 112 emergency service. The costs are determined by law.
- Non-urgent patient transport is, for example:
- transport for dialysis organised by the hospital itself
- transport to another hospital where the patient does not return on the same day
- transport to the hospital for (day) admission organised by the hospital itself
