In the hospital pharmacy, you can reserve specialised medicines that are not available in the home pharmacy and have been prescribed by a specialist. You can easily do this yourself via the app 'Myhealth'.
How do I make a reservation?
- Download the app 'Myhealth' and open it.
- Log in with itsme, your eID or another government digital key.
- Tap 'My open prescriptions'.
- Open the prescription for which you want to make a reservation.
- Tap 'Reserve'.
- Tap the checkbox next to 'Include hospital pharmacies (reserve specific medication)'.
- Enter '9000' for postcode and 'Name of pharmacy' for 'UZ Gent'.
- Select 'UZ GENT APOTHEEK, C. Heymanslaan 10, 9000 Ghent'.
- Fill in your contact details: email and phone number. Tap 'Confirm'.
When can I collect the medication?
You can only collect the medication after an official confirmation from a staff member of the hospital pharmacy. You will receive a phone call or email via the contact details you sent along with the reservation.
Can I reserve other medicines as well?
If you want to reserve other medicines at your own pharmacy, you can also do so via the 'Myhealth' app. For the postcode, enter the postcode of the municipality of your own pharmacy. Via 'Name of pharmacy' you then select your own pharmacy.
