With the fundraising policy we at UZ Gent want to finance projects that make patients' stay more pleasant and improve their quality of life and financially support clinical-scientific research.
What data does UZ Gent process?
We process your identification data, electronic identification data, national registration number, contact details, personal preferences for activities and events and information for the preparation of a tax certificate.
With whom will your data be shared?
Your personal data will only be shared with the staff who ensure that your donation is processed correctly. Outside the hospital, we may share your data with service processors. You can find who your data is shared with in our privacy statement, per category and per purpose.
How long will your data be kept?
Your personal data will not be kept longer than necessary. However, the legislator has imposed minimum retention periods for different categories of data. We must comply with these.
