 EducationGhent University Hospital provides basic as well as specialized medical eduction for all categories of caregivers. Trainee medical specialists and dentist receive a high-quality and very practical education. Every year about 120 doctors and dentists are granted a diploma in their specific field of study.
Beside doctor and dentist training, a number of other academic education programmes are offered such as speech therapy and audiology, biomedical science, physical education and rehabilitation science and physical therapy. The campus also houses a training centre for general practitioners. In addition, nurses, dieticians, speech therapists and physical therapists from various institutions receive their practical training at Ghent University Hospital. |
