The patient is entitled to be informed in advance about prices and rates.
In all departments, the patient can receive full treatment for the services reimbursed by compulsory sickness insurance, at the fees set by the INAMI/RIZIV.
The patient will be informed in advance if treatment or materials are not reimbursed by compulsory sickness insurance. He should also be informed if his choice of a single room or of a given physician will lead to an increase in costs or to additional fees.
The hospital will draw up careful and detailed accounts.
