deLIEving

The deLIEving project is an initiative launched by the non-profit association Kinderkankerfonds: children can stay in a cheerful living area while their parents visit their sick brother or sister. Visiting hours for children are often restricted.
Children from birth to the age of 14 are welcomed and are looked after. They can play, eat, rest, do their home work etc. Parents or grandparents can drop in; mothers can breast-feed their babies etc.

deLIEving is situated on 1K5, opposite the Kinderkankerfonds, near the Pediatric department. Opening hours: Every working day from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. and during school holidays from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. It is not necessary to register in advance but reservation is recommended during holiday periods (deLIEving@kinderkankerfonds.be, tel. 09 332 33 78).
