Overall liability

Under Article 17 novies of the law on hospitals, overall liability rests with the hospital with regard to respect for patient rights by the professional practitioners working with the institution.

Ghent University Hospital confirms that it is responsible for all practitioners working in the hospital, regardless of their status.
